Satisfied

I bought a package of some oatmeal or granola “bites”. I thought to myself I’ll probably have to eat two or three of these to feel as though I had eaten anything, even if considered a light snack.

To my pleasant surprise, one “bite” was actually quite filling. What in size appeared to be too small ended up being just enough. There have been times when one “bite” was too much. I broke the bite in half. I saved a portion for later use.

When Jesus fed the Multitude, Mark 6:42 tells us that “everyone ate and was satisfied”. Jesus took only five loaves and two fish and fed over 5000 people. And everyone was satisfied?! Wow! A miracle indeed!

Do you look at what you have as not enough? Too small? With hesitation, I started this “small” blog. Not sure of what God wants to do with it. Or me. But He asked. I offered it to Him. It is His work to bless and break. And feed. Multitudes? I don’t know. I am not sure. It is by faith I did it. That is how He is pleased. I gave my small. And with that I’m satisfied. And maybe someone else is satisfied too.
